University cooperations

Faber will further intensify their cooperation with the research establishments of the Leichtweiß Institute of the Technical University in Braunschweig, Dr. Kai Münnich. In particular, the institute for external control is supposed to fulfill some tasks within some new European projects.

In order to intensify the connections between industrial economy and universities, a cooperation agreement was concluded in Brazil with the Institute of Sanitary Engineering, Water Quality and Solid Waste Management at the University of Stuttgart. Faber could engage the academic director of the ISWA Stuttgart, Dr.-Ing. Uwe Menzel, as contact person. Among other things it is planned to employ graduands and doctorands at the Brazilian subsidiary company of the Faber Group.

According to what the managing director, Mr. Wolfgang Tönges said, the cooperation between the Faber Group and the different universities is intended to be extended – for the good and in the interest of both sides.
