Municipal Solid Waste
The ever increasing amounts of municipal solid waste (MSW) are considered a global problem but AMBRA consideres MSW to be a valuable resource. "Waste is only waste if you waste it."
We acknowledge that MSW is a complex field and AMBRA prides itself on offering individually customized solutions to every client. Although we offer our proprietary Faber-Ambra system, AMBRA partners with top leaders in waste technology to address all areas of MSW from initial planning to end result. Our infrastructure allows us to adapt to each clients' needs.
Examples of our waste to resource conversion include:
- Converting organic waste into biogas, compost and fertilizer.
- Converting non-organic waste into refuse derived fuel, bunker fuel, gas or electricity.
- from 2,000 tons per day of fresh waste (60 % organic), we can produce net 50 megawatts. This translates to a total of approximately 432,000 megawatt hours per year.
